How Much Do Racquetball Courts

1964 Race death in 2000. Paul Bartel. The three lights

This film is fun for several reasons. There is action, there are cartoonish and cheesy performances, no cars, no velocity, no hosts, no explosions, no naked aunts, there are bad not so bad, and there is no good!, and death is the fundamental element of the story.
Roger Corman in 1975, had already paid most of the time series B. Even you could say that continued to fund and roll the series B droll that we know of 50 and even directed the curious pieces with Vincent Price, Karloff and Lorre.
The director is an unknown actorucho he shot a few movies for decades, also including Cannonball, which is racing and the protagonist is David Carradine (also leaves Stallone).
And on the actors what to say. The principal is David Carradine, who here makes a kind of evil superhero dressed as Darth Vader (literal) and is dubbed Frankenstein. Then there's Sylvester Stallone, who started this film with his talent as a pilot. Before this was done porn (I have not researched a lot but it is well known) in 1968 makes an appearance at Bananas, Woody Allen (anthology making scene with another thug on the subway where there is no text) and after this little film success came to him with Rocky (1976). On the rest of the cast for nothing, many pretty girls of the time naked in some emerging and some actorzuelos escenilla mediocre roles.
The story goes that in 2000, in a hypothetical future, the U.S. is in a race car which is the national sport. In this race involving 5 cars "tuned" and must cross the whole country from coast to coast in the shortest possible time. And with one thing: run over people give points, worth more babies and the elderly, women and even more so than young men (Would not it be the other way around?).
Each car is the driver with his co-pilot, and the race goes through many adventures and mishaps.
Well, my feeling about all this is great. The film's argument point by point game Carmageddon. The aesthetics of the cars is so ... crappy (team A had more taste) that reminds me crazy cars. Carradine has to be Dick Dastardly. Stallone is a kind of beast, twisting his mouth and growls, and runs over (perhaps this was conceived the character of Rambo). And the other runners are not even remember because julandrón that dies at the first opportunity, and two aunts who hate and do not transcend. The struggle that keeps
Stallone Carradine is one of the games of the movie, but more, namely that Carradine (Frankenstein) provides for more. On one side is the roll with his co-driver (a blonde hottie) who plans to pounding her career with the aid of French rebels (yes friends, those who want to fuck the race are the Frogs). Then there's his reputation as a national hero who lives to run over. And on the other side a secret wish that routed to a particular destination. And is that all that much for a man, but not for a guy who is himself the grasshopper, Frankenstein and Bill. Because this guy wears a mask of Darth Vader (Star Wars is from 1977) to fool the rock, not to cover their flaws as Superman, but quite the opposite! Overflow
testosterone stale. That makes the guys laugh. Maybe because the bumper of his car has teeth, and of course, that gives you confidence in yourself.
Understand one thing. The year is 2000. It's the future. The people are Nazis. People enjoy watching others die on television. The president is a supreme being who lives in China. And the prize of the race is shaking hands with the supreme being (which incidentally is a sad bald). The French want to abolish democracy and race. The bad news is bad because society is bad, so not bad. And to make matters worse, his girlfriend he tries to kill all the time and he comes to say Come walk ... how many times do I have to forgive life to fuck.
Seriously, it's memorable. It is a top of the series B. It is impossible not to see certain persecution Spielberg in The Duel. Or that 70's light porn on other occasions. And all spiced up with some stereotypes master. There is even a fan who dresses as Frankenstein Virgin and sacrifices [see photo of girl in the front F] (After Frankenstein meets run her over his co-pilot asked him why did he do that?, Was in love with a laconic Me).
As a curiosity to say that Corman is funding a project for 2008 called Death Race 3000, which runs in 2020 ("imagine what would be run over with flying cars?)

Anleitung D2nt Picklits

1975. Fritz Lang. Aaltra

This film is called Müde Der Tod degree in English and English Destiny Three lights. This is the first great movie of Fritz Lang and appear here as the keys to German expressionism Lang Metropolis would be their top and the references found. I speak of light, ghostly shadows, fortress walls, buildings deformed ...

The story takes almost two hours and is based on a young couple stops at an inn in a small town. Earlier, the coach gets on a mysterious man in black very scary. At the inn, while the girl goes to service the black man convinces the young man in love and leave together. After that no one turns to him and the girl starts to get his desperate boyfriend. Reaches the giant wall (no doors) that surrounds the estate of the man in black, and there, to observe a group of souls through the wall, takes place when dealing with the man in black, which is nothing but death.
The deal is to get three candles do not shut down (which are the souls of three loves in the past) and has until 11 to perform. Times and places are India hundreds of years ago, a former Muslim emirate and a Renaissance principality.
So far I can count.
The use of visual resources is reduced to shadows, frames and "appearances" (those negative spliced typical of the years 20). There are wonderful moments when it appears death, their poses, his charisma and his demeanor. And if anything stands out in the film is the simplicity of assembly and the grandeur of history.
I would say a simple love story, but the fact that Death himself plays a crucial role, which violates the time and space by going to different historical periods (as a challenge) and the outcome arises from the simplicity of love (think what they want), makes seeing her awesome movie gets the feeling that easier. Why? Because four planes pretty well speaks of love, life and death, and with much importance we can only open his mouth in amazement.
masterpiece.

Kate Playground New Gallery

1921. Delépine Benoit and Gustave de Kervern.

Aaltra is a strange title for a strange film. It is a French film released here this year that should last a week in a vo cinema in Madrid and no more.
is written, directed and starring the two types of photo, Kervern Delépine and that what little they have done together have almost full. It is said to have returned to make another film called Avida, which is dated this year.

The film is digitally retouched black and white, with occasional negative saturation number. That black and white is a resource, I agree, but be very careful with this. I think that if the use of this technique is used to cover problems of script is like painting a piece of crap with gold leaf, behind now that if there is chicha, go ahead with the seriousness of black and white. And say that yes, some passages are very nice, photo gallery hear.

other hand, I will talk briefly about the history. It is here that the two protagonists, two neighbors who hate each other for problems of coexistence, simultaneously suffer an accident that leaves them paralyzed at the very beginning. There
begins the true story of two enemies who wish the death of another, which by dint of living and the odd chance they help each other.
I spend many mishaps, from thefts to beatings, and many other things that are joining in the disability. Once
"united" begins a life of rogues who do not find it ironic truth. Such situations are absurd, puerile, that leaves the viewer looking to spend the silences between a car leaves them on the road and another picks them up.

And I forgot to say a fundamental thing, is that this movie is paid for in part by Kaurismaki. That said, you know what to expect.

lasts about 85 minutes and can be seen, even with that absurd final say Fuck you, what kidding. And while talk of black humor all critical to ignore, because the fact that rogues are two invalids, who are bastards by the way, is not relevant to the kind of humor that arises here. Such humor is absurd and simple, wordless. But do not think ironic or cynical humor because it is so meager that goes beyond the event (a flood that isolates, an old impassively watching the motorized cart carried his elderly wife, etc.).

I do not mean that all this is a disadvantage, but tell that to prepare for a session in French Kaurismaki.
The film is original and gets into issues that are still taboo for many. That courage and above all, love.

Note: there is a freak moment in which a Finnish (because they travel to Finland) starts singing in a pub (there was a contest) the song Sunny. Until that happens, the jury (a bunch of tough guys) look without blinking at the guy who is about saying I love you.
Pints of guy: a kind of mixture of jogging suit jacket and American cowboy and pear-shaped belly giant (Giganticus peris). Look at the reindeer:

Berger Paint Color Shades

2004 Dog Day Afternoon. Sidney Lumet.

say almost without question that all the films of bank robberies are as regards this film.

Yesterday I saw a piece of Swordfish, which had seen long ago and were putting on TV. It was the bank robbery scene, when the hostages have a bomb strapped around his neck collars. Instinctively I compared that with Dog Day Afternoon. The comparison was devastating, of course. I just go fuck theft that of Travolta, who had to take an army and wear necklaces enterito pump, while the poor Pacino, leaving him alone and entered the bank and he owned the place, and also had the support of all its hostages. By referring to something newer still, is the Hidden Plan of Spike Lee, where the "brother" makes a popcorn movie that I really liked, and no big deal, it amused me almost 2 hours and that, now , it is very rare.

End of elevation. The movie deals with a bank robbery by three thieves, who remain two guns straight out because you run away. Those two are Pacino and John Cazale (Fredo in The Godfather I and II and Stosh in The hunter), almost nothing.
But we can speak of a single protagonist because Pacino, a man "peculiar" problem, which aims to give the Sunset, is a good guy, the kind that looks for the good of all and which realizes the little people pointed a gun. Thus, at 10 minutes and is a colleague of the entire bank, and 20 would it gain the friendship of the public gathered outside around the media circus mounts, mostly because it will provide money and says things that nobody dares to say.

This movie talks about it, the power of the media. The fickleness of the mass and the American dream. I could say that the movie is a gripping thriller but I'd be lying, is a simple drama about the frustration of a nobody. And everything takes place almost entirely in the branch, one of those branches of American banks with their sickly black security officer, their old desks and other clichés seventies.

Milena Velba Westy’s Pregnancy

1975 Hard Candy. David Slade. 2005

Hard Candy is a film released earlier this year that was very well received by the lockers under the American independent film taste. I
straight to the point. To me, I did not like. I'm not saying I look bad, but not quite like me so now I will comment. It is noteworthy

the performance of the girl (Ellen Page), of which I knew nothing and that makes a strange role of teen cock psychopath. The type character is Patrick Wilson, one of the actors of the last film version of Phantom of the Opera (I have not seen).

The story tells of pedophilia, both alleged and real, and speaks of guilt and punishment. The difference with other movies is that there is an extreme demagoguery pederast to lead to the end of torture to show us as a victim, for which it serves as a teenage psychopath who hatches a plan sadistic and extreme. That's where the whole movie, in those 100 minutes of sadism and repetition. No more. In the end he presents a kind of explanation as to why the acts, which does nothing but ridicule the plot.
There are movies about pedophiles who cast doubt on the disgust that these people cause, I'm coming to mind Brian Cox in LIE, which embroiders a pederast in the paper which shows a malevolent way, and other "soft" character. But this is not the case.

For speaking the start, I will say that the film shows misleading because it is capable of self-criticism (see the false appearances in musical tastes: Goldfrapp, and the literary reference to a book about Jean Seberg), or directly when they say "this seems a video clip. " Thus, it is easy to want to show different, but artistically it does not go beyond a hidden camera spins the blood to the viewer. There is 360 º scans showing no more than it did before they occur, (of which involved a red screenshots prevend way of the bait). And there's even roll strobes video! If this is added a bluish or greenish (think Traffic but not both), we have a movie modernilla.

Well, good things, and is that force to keep the tension, not moving, entertaining, because the public is ready for a sadistic torture, to blush and expect the worst, and therein lies the tension. No However, there is nothing if you think about it. Yes, I repeat that is passable, and many people say that had a bad time and that patatin ... because it raises an interesting background for many things. Well ...

If you've seen Audition (in IMDB) This movie is the same but changing moral values for pedophilia. The difference is that Audition was fun, there was blood and mayhem. And here, all you have is a director who wants to make a kind of Funny Games (in IMDB) in modernete plan, and no, do not get it.
